You will have the opportunity to become one of our future business leaders and be in a position to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as high levels of leadership and initiative. In addition, you will lead actuals reporting and forecasting for the Caterpillar Oil & Gas core business.What You Will Do: Partner with the business, through providing meaningful and timely insights & analysis, to understand results and drive improved financial performanceDrive accountability to achieve financial targets through facilitation of results meetings identifying performance gaps and actions to closeLead the budgeting and forecasting process for the Oil & Gas Power Systems businessDrive standardization, simplification and efficiencies in finance processesCoordinate reporting and analysis of non-financial metricsChampion a strong internal control environment, including maintenance of Sox documentation What You Have: Education – Bachelor’s Degree in AccountingAnalytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problemsEffective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviorsFinancial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reportsTop Candidates Will Also Have:CPA or CMAAdditional Info:International and Domestic travel up to 5%What You Will Get:Our goal at Caterpillar is for you to have a rewarding career.
